Build Your Own Basic Birkenstock

For legal reasons, I can’t call these Birkenstocks—and honestly, that’s a good thing. They’re not. These sandals are built differently, with intention.

The straps are wider, stronger, and designed to actually hold your foot. I use heavier-weight leathers and different hides. I can also make them look incredibly good—if you’ve seen our Premium Custom Leather Sandal listing, you already know what I mean.

This listing is for folks who want a Unique Birkenstock, and maybe some custom work without going over the top. Think a business logo, a name, initials, or a short quote—something clean, simple, and meaningful. (If you’re after more detailed or decorative work, that’s always an option with an upgrade.)

Birkenstock can’t do that—but I can.

The cool part is that I’m legally able to source authentic Birkenstock components, so you still get what works—and we upgrade what doesn’t.

This listing includes the OG, Birkenstock-manufactured and branded soles in white, brown, and black. If keeping a factory-original look is your priority, this option does exactly that. Just know you’re paying for the name—not increased durability or performance.

• Famously comfortable, form-fitting cork footbeds, resealed to help extend their lifespan
• 5–6 oz vegetable-tanned leather
• Badalassi Carlo Pueblo vegetable-tanned leather
• Full cleaning and conditioning
• Suede waterproofing and refresh (when applicable)
• Birkenstock sole of your choice
• Simple Art if you choose it

First, take some time to go through the photos in the listing to see the sole and leather options. Once you’ve found what you like, select your options in the listing in the order below. Select 1 of each

Once your order is placed, we’ll confirm your order, your spot in line, and keep you updated throughout the process until your sandals are ready to ship.
